We do not store your IP address, full referrer, or page query strings in these analytics; page-view records are retained for 90 days. Our email delivery provider, Resend, records deliveries and, when enabled, uses a tracking image to estimate email opens. Privacy features and image blocking can affect these estimates. We use this information to understand readership and delivery; it does not prove that an email was read. You can block remote images in your email app, or unsubscribe from emails using the link provided.
The site collects the minimum needed to run a subscription service: an email address for sign-in & delivery, session cookies to keep subscribers signed in, & subscription status. Payments are processed by Razorpay; card & banking details go directly to Razorpay & are never seen or stored by this site.
If you choose Google sign-in, Google authenticates your account and provides a verified email address and account identifier so we can match your existing HV Investing account. We do not receive your Google password or request access to your Gmail inbox, contacts, or Drive. Our sign-in session cookie lasts up to 90 days on that browser; signing out clears that session. Google processes the sign-in under its own privacy policy.
If a subscriber chooses to answer the optional cancellation question, the site stores the selected reason & any short comment with the confirmed cancellation record. This feedback is used only to improve HV Investing or resolve service problems, is not sent to Razorpay, & is not sold. Subscribers should not include payment or account details. It is removed when the subscriber asks for their account data to be deleted.
Email addresses are used only for sign-in links & service messages. No personal data is sold or shared with third parties beyond the service providers needed to operate the website, including Cloudflare for hosting, Razorpay for payments, Resend for email delivery, and Google when you choose Google sign-in. To have an account & its data removed, write to the contact address below.
Website subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from Manage subscription. A charged plan is set to end after its current billing cycle; a future scheduled plan that has not charged is cancelled immediately. Access already paid for continues through the date shown in the account, & started billing periods are not refunded pro-rata.
For paid subscribers whom HV Investing transferred from Substack to this website, payments for that transferred Substack subscription have already been stopped from HV Investing’s end. Carried-over access remains valid through its stated date.
If a new annual subscriber is unsatisfied, a full refund is available within 7 days of first payment. Write to the contact address below from the subscribed email. Refunds, where due, are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.
