Opening remarks
Mohan AgarwalChairman and Managing Director
Yes, thank you Palak. Good evening, everyone and thank you for joining us for CMR Green Technologies Q1 FY27 Earnings Conference Call. I welcome you to our second earning calls as a listed company. I also thank all our stakeholders, our shareholders, investors, analysts for the continued trust they have placed in CMR. Since listing our focus has remained unchanged, to build an institution that consistently delivers profitable growth, creates long-term value, and contributes meaningfully to India's circular economy.
We began FY27 on a strong note, despite an uncertain global environment marked by geopolitical tensions, supply chain disruptions, and price volatility. During the quarter revenue from operations grew 65% year-on-year to INR3,122 crores. EBITDA increased 27% to INR139 crores, and profit after tax rose 22% to over INR68 crores. In volume terms, sales grew 25% year on year with aluminium business growing at 32%, supported by strong automotive demand and growing non-auto traction. Billets volume increased 149%. UBC volumes grew 333%. This is because both of them are in ramp up mode and they are successfully ramping up.

The transcript as the company filed it on BSE. Our own rules split it into speakers & sections; an unusual layout can trip them, so check the original PDF for anything important. Not a recommendation.
