Profit up 115% in a single quarter sounds like a business on fire. Strip out a one-off property sale, though, & the underlying profit grew roughly 45-55%: still strong, just not the headline.

The more telling number came later. Within one week this October, this maker of badges, logos & decorative trims for cars & motorcycles filed three separate expansions worth about Rs. 175 crore.
