How this screen works
This quarter's results graded against the same quarter last year on sales, profit & operating margin. Blockbuster: sales up 20% or more & profit up 30% or more. Very strong: sales up 15% or more & profit up 25% or more. Strong: sales up 10% or more & profit up 20% or more. Every grade also needs a wider operating margin than a year ago. Only companies worth ₹500 crore or more, with profit from the business: a profit jump that operating profit does not share, or one carried by exceptional items, does not count, & a loss a year ago leaves no growth to grade. Banks, lenders & insurers are left out because operating margin does not describe their business. A grade describes one quarter, not what comes next.

Eternal's operating margin rose 1.3 points to 2.9% in April to June 2026, with revenue up 182% to ₹20,211 crore. Most of the revenue jump comes from Blinkit now owning the stock it sells, so it books the full sale value as revenue.
Eternal's operating margin rose to 2.9% from 1.6% in April to June 2026, as revenue jumped 182% to ₹20,211 crore on Blinkit's growth.
- What Zomato does
- Eternal, earlier called Zomato, runs the Zomato food delivery app, the Blinkit quick commerce app (groceries & daily needs delivered in minutes), District (tickets for movies, events & dining out) & Hyperpure (supplies for restaurants). Its customers are city households, restaurants & brands across India.
- What is behind it
- In results for April to June 2026, consolidated revenue rose to ₹20,211 crore from ₹7,167 crore, & profit rose to ₹92 crore from ₹25 crore, according to the company's filings. Blinkit brought in ₹15,664 crore of that revenue, according to Inc42. About a year ago Blinkit moved to an inventory-led model (it buys & holds the goods itself instead of only taking a commission from sellers), so it now counts the full sale value as revenue, & the company said inventory losses are about 1.8% of order value. On 13 Oct the company told the exchange its board would meet on 21 Oct 2026 to approve July to September results, with an analyst call the same day.
- How big is it
- The ₹92 crore profit is less than half a rupee for every ₹100 of the ₹20,211 crore revenue, about 0.5%, which shows how thin margins still are. Blinkit's ₹15,664 crore was about 77.5% of total revenue in the quarter.
